Gull
Gull is the last of four small abstract studies following Murderess, Hoar, and Bugbear and a wrap up to a few stray ideas before starting the next big thing (or an excellent method of procrastinating on starting that next big thing).
Gull
Turning wine to disbelieving
and caresses to jade,
the victim of every blue jay,
there are one hundred and sixty one
reasons I should not believe you,
but I haven’t any calluses,
or sigh no more.

This will also likely be my last post for a few weeks while I take a bit of a hiatus. I’ll be back in mid-December with new images, so stay tuned…
The second and the fourth images are abstracted from the real, The others are to attached on the real. Only to me of course. Please let me know if you do not like this kind of comments. When I press like , you deserve the why. As a kind of respect to you, the artist. cheers bart
Hi Bart! I always appreciate constructive comments. Actually, when I finished, I had the same concern. The process for all four pieces is the same, but Hoar and Gull are quite a bit more literal than Murderess and Bugbear. I initially thought this would work as a four part group. Now, I’m not sure that it hangs together well. But it was a fun exercise. Sometimes the road doesn’t lead where you think it will.
