Portland Grid Project
It’s the holiday season and between being generally merry, getting my book published (I Will Not Hurt Myself/I Will Not Hurt Others is scheduled to be released in January-ish!), organizing The Next Big Project, work on The Next Smallish Project, work (the stuff that I do for money), and you know, just taking pictures, I have been busy to the point of neglecting writing anything here.
To add fuel to the fire, I have joined the Portland Grid Project.
Back in 1995, a group of Portland-based photographers cut up a map of Portland, Oregon and started taking pictures – one grid per month. It takes ten years to complete the cycle and then it starts all over again. I’m starting in the first year of Round Three and following in the footsteps of some of Portland’s best artists.
Check out the Portland Grid Project’s website.
I’ll be posting PGP photos over there, but here are a few to catch you up…

I promise that more good stuff is coming in the new year. Until then, have a safe and happy holiday season and cheers to 2024!
