Upcoming Show: October 4

It’s the time of year to check out some of the best of Portland’s contemporary photography scene…

I will be taking part in Newspace Center for Photography‘s Member Salon and 11th Anniversary Reception on Friday on October 4, with work from my latest project, Wish You Were Here on the wall alongside amazing work from my fellow members. The opening reception will be going from 6p to 9p, and is open to everyone of all ages. Usually the wine and snacks are pretty good too.

Newspace is a nonprofit organization and focal point for Portland fine art photographers. It offers resources for all levels of photographers, including workshops and classes, darkroom/studio/lab space, lectures from visiting artists, children’s programs and community outreach. The Newspace Gallery is free and open to the public, mounting twelve exhibitions each year.

I am proud to have been a member of Newspace for five years now and encourage all photographers and artists, and the people who put up with them, to come down and check it out!
