Happy Birthday, Bernie Worrell!
Last night, I had the good fortune to catch keyboardist and founding member of Parliment Funkadelic, Bernie Worrell, celebrating his 68th birthday. Surrounded by many synths and Volt Per Octaves, he put on a great show.
Opening bands were Hong Kong Banana and Beyoung. Sadly, I only caught the end of Beyoung…
But the night belonged to Mr. Worrell…
